Wake Forest University is a private, coeducational university located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The Reynolda Campus, the university's main campus, is located north of downtown Winston-Salem, and the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center campus is located near downtown Winston-Salem. The University also occupies lab space at the Bowman Gray Technical Center, at the downtown Piedmont Research Park, and at the Center for Nanotechnology and Molecular Materials. The university is highly selective and is known for its rigorous workload.
