Swingtown is an upcoming American television drama created and executive produced by Mike Kelley. The pilot was directed by Alan Poul.[1] The show is a period drama about the impact of sexual and social liberation in 1970s American suburban households - such as open marriages and "key parties." [2]
Produced by CBS Paramount Television, the series was officially green-lighted and given a thirteen-episode order on May 14, 2007. [3] It is currently scheduled to air as a summer series in 2008 on CBS. [1] The show will also be broadcast on Global and ITV3 in Canada and the United Kingdom respectively. [4] The show has also been picked up by Network Ten in Australia and Warner Channel for South America.[5]
