Matthew Clayton Flynn (born June 20, 1985, in Tyler, Texas) is an American football quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. In 2007, his fifth season at Louisiana State University, Flynn earned the starting quarterback job after former starting quarterback JaMarcus Russell entered the 2007 NFL Draft.[1] He is the son of Alvin Flynn, who played quarterback at Baylor in the 1960s.[2]
