David Plouffe is a Democratic Party campaign consultant in the United States and the campaign manager for Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign. As executive director of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 1999-2000, Plouffe led a focused national campaign that raised a record $95 million for House of Representatives campaigns across the United States, helping add to the party's membership in the House of Representatives. ^[1]
